Which Campervan or Motorhome Suits Your Trip?
The right vehicle depends on how many people are travelling, how much you want on board, and where you plan to drive. Larger motorhomes carry more but need more room to park and manoeuvre. Compact campervans go almost anywhere but ask you to use campground facilities.

Campervan or Motorhome: What’s the Difference?
A campervan is a van converted for sleeping and cooking. The living space and the driving cab form one connected shell, so you step between them without going outside. Most campervans sleep two, carry a kitchenette and a fridge, and rely on campground facilities for showers and toilets, though larger models include both on board.
A motorhome is built on a truck or bus chassis with a purpose-built living body behind the cab. The extra size buys a fixed bathroom with toilet and shower, a full kitchen, larger water tanks and separate sleeping areas. Motorhomes sleep from two to six, so they suit families and longer trips where being self-contained matters
The line between the two is not fixed, and suppliers apply the terms differently. As a working rule: if it started as a van, it is a campervan; if the living body was built onto a chassis, it is a motorhome. Size, berth count and whether there is a bathroom on board matter more to your trip than the label.
